Metropol Lake Resort - Ohrid
Metropol Lake Resort - Ohrid is located at the far end of the south-west part of the Republic of Macedonia, in the city of Ohrid, distanced only 172 km, from the capital - Skopje. This region is well known tourist destination in our country, easily accessible for all domestic and foreign tourists.
The connection of the city with the capital and the world is well developed and one can reach the destination easily from the mainland or through Ohrid Airport. The resort is placed at the sixth kilometer on the right side of the international road Ohrid- Republic of Albania (St. Naum), placed in the downhill of the mountain Galicica on the coast of the Lake Ohrid.
The hotel resort Metropol is sited in the most beautiful part of the east coast of the Lake Ohrid, with the lake view from one side, and mountain view from the other side.
The resort Metropol disposes area of 34.329 m2 of land, from which 7.360 m2 are in buildings and 26.969 m2 are hotel yard.
The resort consists of three (3) hotels:
1. Hotel “Metropol”
- 110 double rooms with the option of putting the third additional bed.
- 4 Standard suites (bedroom and living room)
- 1 Resident suite (2 bedrooms and living room)
- 1 Deluxe suite (bedroom and living room)
- 2. Hotel “ Tourist”
The hotel Turist consists of five floors: ground floor and four floors.- The hotel has 78 double rooms with 176 beds.
- The accommodation part covers area of 3.000 m2.
- The hotel is in the phase of renovation and receiving categorization according to the law regulation as hotel of third category with 3 stars.
- 3. Hotel “Bellevue”
170 double rooms with the option of putting the third additional bed.- 3 Standard suites (bedroom and living room)
- 1 Deluxe suite (bedroom and living room)
- All suites are broad and are fully and luxury equipped.
- There is separate staff room on every floor.
- The accommodation part covers area of 6.000 m2.
- Fire detection system.
- The hotel is equipped with hydrant system, and fire prevention equipment.
- All rooms are equiped with air condition system
